It is a branch of biology and medicine which deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to hormones. Endocrinology covers the coordination of human functions such as metabolism, respiration, reproduction, sensory perception and movements.

Addison’s disease: It is also referred to as primary adrenal insufficiency. People suffering with primary adrenal insufficiency don’t produce enough hormone aldosterone. Grave’s disease: It is a type of autoimmune disorder, in which the thyroid gland produces too much of thyroid hormone, which is often call hyperthyroidism. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: It is a common condition which causes a range of symptoms including irregular periods, unwanted hair growth, acne and weight problems.
